    Back to School Organization – Part 3

    It’s Monday again, and we had a wonderful weekend celebrating the main man in our house’s birthday! I hope your weekend was filled with exactly what you looked forward to all week. Mine sure was! Today I’m sharing some basic organization that is working for our family right now. Inside our main living area, we have the perfect space for a “drop area”. I would love a mud room/laundry room that could serve this purpose, but that’s not the layout of our home.     Back to School Organization – Part 2

    After a quite productive weekend, I’m excited to share with you how our Back to School morning routine has gotten a bit easier with these food storage ideas. Our older two children take their lunches from home every day, as well as a snack, and they are making their own lunches each morning. In order to make that easy and quick for them (and me) I have their food options portioned out and ready to go in the refrigerator and pantry where they can easily reach.     Back to School organization – Part 1

    We LOVED our summer break this year! It was filled with just the right amount of travel, fun, sun, swimming, family time and relaxation. There was absolutely no routine and barely any expectations for our children, which is a wonderful way to spend the summer! That all came to a screeching halt the first week of August when all three of them started school. I’ll admit that I do enjoy routines and schedules, and since I don’t really have a Type A personality (at all), I am able to be flexible when it’s necessary.     Medicine Storage

    Fortunately, our family is not sick very often, so we do not take medicine on a regular basis. I am so thankful to God for that! But the medicines we do have stay up high in a cabinet in our laundry room, well out of reach of our children. I thought I’d share how I store our medicine because it works well for our family. These miniature cloth cubes came from Target and they hang out in the top cabinet of our laundry room.¬†They can also be found here at Amazon.
